L’Association de Promotion des Viandes du Centre a pour but de défendre et gérer les filières Label Rouge et/ou IGP en production porcine.
Elle œuvre ainsi pour la promotion du Porc Fermier d’Auvergne élevé en plein air (Label Rouge et IGP) vendu exclusivement en boucherie charcuterie artisanale et restaurant, représentant 30 éleveurs pour 28 000 porcs abattus par an. Elle gère aussi la marque Porc Délice Label Rouge vendu en GMS et restauration collective produisant 100 000 porcs par an grâce à 85 éleveurs. Les deux filières peuvent approvisionner la transformation Label Rouge et la restauration collective.

The aim of the Association de Promotion des Viandes du Centre is to champion and manage Red Label and/or PGI subsidiaries involved in pig farming production.
It also works on the promotion of free range Auvergne pigs (Red Label and PGI), sold exclusively in artisan butchery/deli meat shops and restaurants, representing 30 farmers contributing 28,000 pigs slaughtered each year. It also manages the Porc Délice brand, a Red Label product sold in hypermarkets and supermarkets in addition to institutional catering bodies producing 100,000 pigs per year contributed by 85 farmers. These two subsidiaries can supply Red Label processing and institutional catering.
